Winpisinger Education and Technology Center is the IAM's most visible sign of our commitment to provide a world class educational facility to train future IAM leaders.
The Winpisinger Center teaches what it is to be a trade unionist. By studying labor history and the role unions play in our society, students learn that unions are more than service organizations. We are part of a larger movement toward economic and social justice with dignity on the job.
Employment Services Department Our mission is to provide support to IAM districts, locals and members who are facing layoffs. We aspire to serve our brothers and sisters more efficiently each and every day by quickly providing them with relevant and up-to-date information.

Missouri DOL Department of Employment Security The Missouri Division of Employment Security provides payment of unemployment insurance benefits to workers who become unemployed through no fault of their own.
Missouri DOL Department of Workers Compensation The Division of Workers' Compensation works with employers and employees regarding workplace injuries and illnesses. Many Missouri employers are required by law to carry workers' compensation insurance for employees. Workers' compensation insurance provides financial assistance to workers injured on the job. The Division helps ensure that those injured workers receive appropriate medical treatment and payment of compensation for lost wages.

Pension Benefit Guaranty The Pension Benefit Guaranty Corp. is using a new Internet site to help workers locate pension money owed to them. The PBGC lists 9,887 workers who are owed more than $19 million in benefits and about 1,400 companies. The site can be searched by name, company or state.
